Hurrah!

So I woke up this morning and groggily walked into the kitchen, only to look out the window and see SUN! for the first time is days! It's still a bit cold but I can't wait for it to warm up so I can go hiking in my very own backyard! It's about noon now so I think I'm going to make some lunch to eat out in the sun on the porch. I'll post some pictures of the nice weather when I get outside.

Good Morning!

Good Morning world! I see your still covered with ice, and snow.
Yesterday I got to have my first snow day at college, the whole campus was closed, luckily I got a phone call and didn't drive the 10 miles to get there. Michael, slept until noon AGAIN today, it seems his new sleeping habits are, sleep till noon, move from bed to chair, play video games till 3 am, then go to bed.
I can't blame him there isn't anything else to do and we STILL can't find jobs. I think I've applied to every store in a ten mile radius! I still want it to be warm out, I love the snow but living on 40 acres and not being able to enjoy it sure makes for one upset me.
I love where I live now, but I'm still adjusting. I have to say the one thing I miss the most is my mother. I miss her silly crafts, and her being so proud of learning something new and trying to teach me even though I'm to stubborn to listen to her. She told me yesterday to go apply for food stamps since money is so tight now. I got the number but I'm a little ashamed to call. It isn't like I'm going to be on them forever, but I'm afraid of that some days. I guess everyone needs help once in a while. I'm not really used to writing down what I do and what I think, but I find it kind of fun, even if no one reads it.
Later today I do have to go to school, I have my child development class tonight and I just know it's going to be boring. We do the same thing every single time. get to class, get in groups, talk, do essay, start homework, go home. Sometimes we watch movies, but that really just means I have to write more when I get home. Luckily now I have a flash drive so I don't have to keep emailing myself my homework. I think that I'd really like a pet, but I hardly have enough money to feed mike and I, much less another creature. Our neighbor had the cutest little Shepherd puppies, and I wanted one so bad! I guess I'm just lucky mike has self-restraint other wise I might have walked home with two or three of them. I think I'll start taking Baby blossom (one of my ponies) around with me and taking picture of her, she can be my blog mascot. Hopefully tonight I'll get an email from the vacation rental woman that wants to hire mike. She said Tuesday or Wednesday. Theres also another vacation rental place I saw looking to hire in the same area, maybe we both can get jobs =)
