A little love along the way.

Man, it's awful being sick, the warm summer air, the mugginess of the morning, all ruined by the sniffles! Mike just got his second job, which means I'm home all alone from 5pm-1am plus we both work all day. Luckily, he has tonight off from the gas station and he gets to bring home what ever food he wants! The Inn has been pretty busy lately which is always a good sign of job security it's so hard to keep up with all the guests and their needs. I find every moment of it strangely enthralling... Something about the sheer amount of people that leave where they are just to come to some sin-city left behind town in the middle of the bible belt. You have to believe me when I say "bible-belt" The church I frequent here has a STARBUCKS yes run by volunteers and charging cost but still a Starbucks. Of course being able to snag a vinbean-frap at a dollar or two instead of the three it would normaly be is always a plus. Not to mention all the strange breakfast requests we get here, avacodo for waffles, mustard for the breakfast sandwhiches, peanut butter and of course eggs benidict. Its always the nicer people who mention how cheerful or helpful you are that really help ward off reality and of course michael is always encourgaing me to be as patient as I can be, which is hard sometimes. at least I'm getting the swing of things now.
